The Loaded Poets - "The Miller Beer Song"

Guest Post by Jim Wood of The Loaded Poets:

A teenage Dan Snyder (keyboards) and Jim Wood (vocals) banged out this 3-minute masterpiece in the living room of Dan's childhood home on an upright piano at which Dan had recently labored during his agonizing bout with childhood piano lessons. Wood's poison pen recounts a tale of drunken romance and all the angst that goes with it in this early example of frenetic Loaded Poets' product.

Performed with nostalgic pride and renewed energy at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, New York, where Loaded Poets celebrated the digital release of their feature film The Front Man.

The Loaded Poets - "Baby"

Guest Post by Jim Wood of The Loaded Poets:

One of Loaded Poets' recent compositions, Baby is a song about the heartbreak of the unfair world of conception...some cannot conceive and desperately want to, while others "spit 'em out and say goodbye."

An ode to one's hopefully future child is delivered with passion by Loaded Poets, performed live at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, New York to celebrate the digital release of The Front Man.

The Loaded Poets - "Beat Scene"

Guest Post by Jim Wood of The Loaded Poets:

Penned during the band's college days when they shared off-campus housing while attending Rutgers University in New Jersey, Beat Scene is a sneering anti-ode to the poseur club scene that existed in New Brunswick at the time.

Loaded Poets' much preferred the dank poetic womb of the Court Tavern to the glue-do pretentiousness of The Melody, and this Ramones-esque romp drives the point home; performed live at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, New York to celebrate the digital release of the feature film The Front Man, which focuses on Loaded Poets.

The Loaded Poets - "Cop Stop"

Guest Post by Jim Wood of The Loaded Poets:

Loaded Poets' wrote this white funk gem at a recent birthday jam for keyboard player Dan Snyder. The tune tells the sad tale of a suburbanite who thinks he has it made until the local cops take a liking to his wife. We've all been there.

Performed with swagger at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, New York, where Loaded Poets celebrated the digital release of their feature film The Front Man.

The Loaded Poets - "Lock On Your Head"

Guest Post by Jim Wood of The Loaded Poets:

Written during Loaded Poets' 10-year anniversary jam, Lock On Your Head is a spirited blues crawl bemoaning the imprisonment of the human mind, and is more relevant today than it was when first written.

Loaded Poets perform it with gusto at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, New York, where they celebrated the digital release of the feature film The Front Man, which focuses on Loaded Poets. Guitarist John Kayne is in his element and at his best during his scorching solo.

The Loaded Poets - "The Window Guy"

Guest Post by Jim Wood of The Loaded Poets:

One of Loaded Poets' recent compositions, The Window Guy is, according to lead singer Jim Wood a "superhero that kicks your ass with love."

Enjoy the 80s-flavored power pop from Loaded Poets, performed live at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, New York to celebrate the digital release of The Front Man.
